The message behind this ad is very simple: “love is a gift.” And that couldn’t be more true. It reminds us to cherish every second we have with loved ones.
As someone who lost his mother just a few days before Christmas, this video really strikes a nerve. Typically around this time of the year, I find myself playing back old videos of my mom.
One thing my mom would say, “One day I will be gone, but the memories will never fade. Always remember the good times.” One of my most cherished last memories is dancing with her at my wedding, just a few months before she passed.
I miss you mom!
Off the back of the John Lewis Christmas advert I wanted to share my very own Christmas film which I made back in 2014.It's a short film about a man counting down the days to Christmas so he can continue his yearly tradition sparked by a tragic moment from the past. I hope you enjoy it 🙂Starring Chris Ilston. Special thanks to Natalie Martins (Actress) for playing 'Mum'.www.philbeastall.co.uk#christmas #video #film #videographer
