Prank or mistake?
UPDATE 9/24/2018 2:23 p.m.: NH1.com spoke to Water Country and discovered that the message was altered from its original “Thanks for a great season” text Sunday night by an unknown person. The water park plans to report the incident to the police.
Maybe it’s a sign that something needs to change…
Water Country water park on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth had a strange message on their sign Monday morning.
Reddit user drvantassel noticed that, “Thank you for a great ass” was written on the water park’s sign.
“I think they were going for ‘thanks for a great season,'” drvantassel wrote.
Whether the message was on purpose or a mistake, it sure made Monday morning a lot easier.
With the season BEHIND us we just wanted to show our appreciation to our fantastic guests. But it looks like someone got cheeky with our sign. Everything is back to normal now! pic.twitter.com/BlDNXN3oeS
