Students at Keene State College have a new way to save time and money by graduating in three years.
The college has launched an initiative called Degree in Three, starting with 19 academic programs in the arts and sciences, including film studies, architecture and criminal justice studies.
College President Melinda Treadwell says the initiative is designed for students who are interested in beginning careers as soon as they can. Professors and staff will guide students through the shorter timeline.
Keene State is the first school within the University System of New Hampshire to offer such a program. Southern New Hampshire University, a private school, has a similar program.
