With no website or social media presence how are you supposed to find out about Portsmouth’s Museum of Dumb Guy Stuff? Well, you’ll just have to visit it.
The “museum” is located on Mechanic St., near Strawbery Banke, in downtown Portsmouth and it’s literally in someone’s basement. It has all kinds of trickets, collectibles, toys, and figurines on display.
Hours aren’t really set in stone, but owner Clayton Emery has said his door is usually open from 11am to 2pm. You’ll know the museum is open if you see the Open flag outside the door.
Most interesting item at the museum might just be a historical, supposedly accurate, train set mimicking a 1959 Dover, NH train yard.
