When I first moved to the Upper Valley last year, one of the things I noticed was there were a lot of vacant buildings. I had just moved up from the seacoast, where a building boom was happening. I wonder if the same boom would come up here.
I am happy to report it has!
Hobby Lobby signed a ten-year lease and renovated the old Kmart building on Washington Street, Claremont Ford, recently opened a new 18,000 sq. ft facility on Charlestown Rd also in Claremont, and over in West Lebanon, HomeGoods and Petco recently opened in the Route 12A Plaza.
Now you’re thinking, “That’s great, but what about a new place to eat?” Well, I have more good news for you. The Massachusetts based restaurant 110 Grill will be opening in the vacant space next to HomeGoods at the Route 12A Plaza in early 2019.
