On vacation next week? It looks like you picked a good one...
This week has been "so-so" for vacationers. Monday and Tuesday brought cloudy, damp conditions to the region. Wednesday turned into a gorgeous day, as expected.
Thursday will offer some dry times, between showers and thunderstorms. Right now, Friday is looking nice as well with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Highs will be in the upper 70s at the coast and lower 80s inland.
A storm will develop offshore late Friday into Saturday. Right now, most available computer guidance keeps this storm south of New Hampshire. However, if your travels take you to the south shore or Cape Cod, odds are higher you'll see at least some rain, and certainly more clouds during part of Friday night or Saturday. The track of this storm can change some, so check back for updates throughout this week.
After that bump in the road passes, it looks like a sunny and very warm stretch of weather is setting up for next week. It doesn't look like we will have several days of "triple H's". Instead, it looks like we will have lots of sun, moderate humidity, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Some towns may hit the 90 degree mark inland. If you have beach or vacation plans next week, it looks like you picked a good one.
