‘I Could ... Make a Difference’: Former Strafford County Attorney on Bid for Congress
New Hampshire native and former trial lawyer Lincoln Soldati sat down with NH1.com on Monday to talk about why he’s running for Congress in the 1st District.
Soldati, running as a Democrat, spent over 20 years in public office at the local and county level. He is well known for serving 18 years as the Strafford County Attorney, on the Somersworth School Board, Somersworth Charter Commission and as Somersworth’s Mayor.
“I began to watch what was unfolding as result of the election,” Soldati said. “Every day I’d sort of tell myself ‘Jeez it can’t possibly get any worse,’ and every day, I’d make the mistake of turning on the news and what happened, of course, it got worse … This is something I could do and this is something I could do to make a difference.”
