Would You Pay $5,000 to Drink Wine out of a Cheese Cup?
Nope, this is not a joke. A popular cheese brand named after the country Finland is celebrating the country’s 100th anniversary by creating the world’s first wine and beer glasses made entirely of cheese.
For one day only, Finlandia plans to celebrate its native country with the launch of limited edition, hand-crafted and fully edible “commemorative cheeseware.”
The price for the pair of wine and beer cheese glasses is set at $5,000.
Cheese fanatics interested in placing an order for the cheeseware can do so by sending a direct message through Finlandia’s Facebook page here.
Orders can be placed Wednesday, Dec. 6, until 11:59 p.m. This is the official day of Finland’s centennial celebration.
