Mannequins pose for listing photos in this Texas home
RICHMOND, T.X. — Just outside of Houston, the Richmond home listed for approximately $1.2 million looks quite ordinary, on the outside. Photos on the Zillow listing reveal the home to be filled with still-lives, literally.
With approximately 30 mannequins, over 150 pieces of artwork hanging on the walls and artificial plants including a Christmas tree, the house could have come right out of an I-Spy book.
Zillow listings like this, with unique or questionable decorations have been highlighted recently, such as the "Nightmare house" or the Arizona home purr-fect for cat lovers.
According to a report by Dallas News, the current home owner is moving to be closer to family and will be taking everything featured in the photos. The report also reveals that the current owner is an artist who makes jewelry worn by celebrities. The owner is planned on taking everything in the home with her when she moves.
"Every bell & whistle was added by the builder," the listing reads.
While they will not be there to welcome the new owners, mannequins can be seen outside and in almost every room, getting out of the shower, watching television, guarding the gate, or riding a tricycle on the ceiling.
Built in 2000, the five bedroom home features a four car garage and sits on a two acre lot.
