Introducing 'Pantsdrunk,' Finland's Key to Continued Happiness
How's this for a new trend, drinking alone in your underwear?
No kidding, it's called "Pantsdrunk" and it's the new thing in Finland.
In an upcoming book, "Pantsdrunk: Kalsarikanni: The Finnish Path to Relaxation," by Miska Rantanen, it claims that just hanging out alone on the couch, drinking, eating snacks, watching Netflix, staring at your phone, and blocking anything work related is "a path to recovery and self empowerment."
In other words, it's all about doing pretty much anything you feel like, that makes you relax. Being lazy without feeling guilty about it, is good for you.
Oh, and they say it doesn't have to "involve booze" so it's all inclusive. It might sound just plain lazy to you and me, but to be fair, Finland seems to always rate in the Top 5 in world happiness rankings.
Could this actually be legit? Don't knock it until you try it, I guess. Let's get Pantsdrunk everybody.
