UPDATE: One of two suspects arrested in Rochester Girl Scout cookie theft
ROCHESTER - There's been an arrest in the case of Girl Scouts who were robbed in Rochester.
Rochester police say the original robbery happened Friday night when Girl Scouts selling cookies at the front entrance of the Walgreens on South Main St. said a man stole their cash box and fled in a green Toyota Camry with New Jersey plates.
Sunday afternoon police say they arrested Kayla Lonergan, 19 years-old of Rochester, in connection with the theft. Lonergan is facing three misdemeanor charges and is being held at Strafford County Jail on $7500.00 cash bail. She is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
Investigators say there's a warrant for a second man in connection with the robbery, 20 year-old Pierre Thibault of Haverhill, Massachusetts. Police say Thibault should not be approached and if you see him or have any information about his whereabouts to call the Rochester Police Department at 330-7128.
