UPDATE: 3rd arrest made in shooting death of Littleton man, bail set at $100K
LITTLETON - A third arrest has been made in connection with the May 27 killing of 21-year-old Robert Pierog.
Nick Skidmore, 21, of Littleton, was taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to commit murder and obstructing justice Friday.
Skidmore is accused of driving 21-year-old Damion Yeargle, the man accused of shooting Pierog, and 18-year-old Quade Kadle, the accused accomplice, to Pierog's apartment, allegedly with the knowledge that they were planning to shoot and kill Pierog. Skidmore is also alleged to have driven Yeargle to his home so he could retrieve his .22 caliber rifle as well as to a local Wal-Mart, where the three reportedly purchased bandanas to conceal their identities.
Pierog died in his apartment on West Main Street after being shot several times.
His death was ruled a homicide by the New Hampshire medical examiner.
