Tearful robbery suspect turns himself in at scene of the crime in Manchester
MANCHESTER - Police have arrested a man they believe robbed a Stop-N-Go Tuesday demanding cash and wielding a "sharp stone."
Carlos Reyes, 46, of Manchester, was arrested after returning to the scene crying and ready to "turn himself in," police said.
The robbery happened at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday when the man armed with the stone went into the store and demanded cash. He returned to the store at 6:42 p.m. and police were called. Reyes was arrested and charged with robbery. He is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
