Support community services at the Eversource, Easterseals walk and run fundraiser
MANCHESTER — The 18th annual Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals is Thursday.
More than 2,500 are expected to join the walk and run, which starts at 6:30pm at Veteran's Memorial Park in Manchester. Same-day registration opens at 4pm at Veterans' Park.
The event also features games and activities and a Wellness Alley.

"Easterseals is one of the largest human service agencies in New Hampshire, helping more than 26,900 individuals with disabilities to live, learn, work and play in the communities where Eversource delivers energy every day," said Easterseals President & CEO Larry Gammon. "Over the past three decades, Eversource employees have strongly embraced the work we do at Easterseals NH and we are honored to partner with them on this event."
The 2016 walk raised more than $260,000 and had more than 2,500 participants.
The money raised helps Easterseals provide services throughout the Granite State, including: autism services, inclusive child care and early intervention, special education, medical rehabilitation, camping and recreation, vocational services, senior services, substance abuse services, adult day programs, community based services, individual service options, transportation services, residential service options, dental services and veteran services.
