Students take on homelessness with dodgeball
HOOKSETT - It's a game we all grew up playing: dodgeball.
Thursday night, 14 teams from high schools across the state faced off on the court.
But this tournament wasn't just for bragging rights: it was about the homeless. 'Dodging Homelessness' aims to tackle a serious state issue.
Last year more than 3,000 students in New Hampshire were registered homeless. The 2nd annual event was hosted by the NH Coalition to End Homelessness and Families in Transition.
