Reports of fight lead police to charge NH man with DWI
WOLFEBORO — A Center Ossipee man has been arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge after police responded to reports of a fight.
At 9:01 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the fight at 337 S. Main St. While on scene the officer determined that one of the people involved in the argument also had been driving a vehicle.
Police said Daniel Lopes, 32, was found to be under the influence and was arrested, police said. Lopes was taken to Huggins Hospital for blood tests and treatment.
Police then took him to the Carroll County jail, where he was booked and then released on bail. He is scheduled to appear in Ossipee district court at 8 a.m. June 21.
