3 Great Musical Guests and 1 Big Announcement from 'Cail and Company'
If you are a fan of young local talent, you’ll want to check out these charming performances! Some local amateur musicians and singers graced the stage as part of the year-end festivities on 107.7 The Pulse’s “Cail and Company,” performing for the live radio audience as well as those watching the show on Facebook. The performers are all current students at NHTunes, a music school and recording studio in Manchester.
Mak, of Springfield, is only 13 years old but she has already written over 30 songs. Playing ukulele and singing, she performed an original song titled “Dandelion Fuzz,” which will be featured on her upcoming EP “Let the Light In” - due out in early 2018.
Molly Cragon, of Bow, showed off her amazing singing voice (see the top of this article), while Bella Brothers, from Bedford, accompanied on guitar for a duet rendition of Carole King’s “Will You Love Me Tomorrow.” Molly, 10, has been taking singing lessons for only about one year, and enjoys performing in theater in addition to singing. Bella, 13, has been studying guitar for five years.
She also sings and writes her own songs (when she isn’t hanging out with her awesome brother Drew).
Of course, you don’t have to be a kid to benefit from music lessons! Also featured on the show was Lisa Pollard of Hooksett, who has been studying at NHTunes for about four years.
Pollard performed her take on Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
Bob Desmarais of NHTunes also appeared alongside the performers to talk about their work with the artists. Anyone interested in learning more about music lessons or the recording studio can visit www.NHTunes.biz.
The New Year’s celebration marked the final broadcast before "Cail and Company" expands in 2018. Starting Tuesday, Jan. 2, "Cail and Company" will simulcast on 107.3 WEMJ in the lakes region in addition to 107.7 The Pulse in the Concord-Manchester area.
107.3 WEMJ and 107.7 The Pulse are properties of Binnie Media, which also owns NH1.com.
