Police warn NH residents after late-night attempted burglar finds residents home
RINDGE — Police said one resident of Jowders Cove encountered an attempted burglary suspect early Saturday morning.
Acccording to police, the suspect lightly knocked on the side door of a home in Jowders Cove around 12:45 a.m. The man reportedly held up a tool and told the homeowners that he was there to read their electric meter.
Residents told police the suspect was a white male was approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall with broad shoulders and a slim physique, clean shaven with short gray/white hair parted to the side.
He fled the scene in a white pickup truck that had a red or amber dome light that was parked in the resident's driveway but hidden from their view.
It is believed that this male subject was going to burglarize the home and was prevented by doing so because the residents were home.
