Police: NH man known to have outstanding warrants resists arrest
HOOKSETT — A New Hampshire man was arrested on Monday for having outstanding warrants and resisting arrest.
Police say, Christopher Lynch, 23, of Hooksett was known for having active arrest warrants in the community. Officer Carpenter confirmed Lynch's active warrants before making contact with the male suspect.
When police attempted to apprehend Lynch, he began to pull away and push officers off him. A struggle ensued between the two men, but Officer Carpenter said he was quickly able to place Lynch in handcuffs.
According to police, Lynch had a outstanding bench warrant out of the Rochester Police Department for theft by deception. Police say, Lynch was also charged with resisting arrest and simple assault after the incident with Officer Carpenter.
Lynch was transported to the Merrimack County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned via video on July, 11.
