Police: Man seen trespassing found with heroin, marijuana, cash
MANCHESTER — Police arrested a man after on drug charges after seeing him trespassing through people's yards.
An officer with the Manchester Police Department was patrolling the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets on Tuesday morning when he saw a man trespassing through yards in the area, police said.
At approximately 12:45 a.m. the officer stopped the man who was identified as Christopher Romain, 22, of Manchester. When the officer spoke with Romain, he provided a false name and an address from New Haven, Connecticut.
Romain was found to be in possession of marijuana, heroin and $7,000 in cash, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled drug and unsworn falsification.
