NH woman taken to hospital after two-car crash in Rochester
ROCHESTER — One person had to be taken to the hospital after her vehicle hit another car on Thursday.
Police and emergency crews responded to Route 108 in the area of the Skyhaven Airport for a two-vehicle crash.
An investigation revealed that Tiffany Lefebre, 34, of Rochester, was traveling northbound in a Nissan Versa when she came to a stop behind a vehicle making a lefthand turn. The vehicle behind her swerved and stopped, avoiding her vehicle.
The vehicle behind that one, a Honda Pilot being driven by Catherine Lyons, 30, of Milton Mills, was traveling northbound as well but was unable to stop in time or avoid Lefebre’s car. Lyons’ Honda Pilot rear-ended Lefebre’s Nissan, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
As a result, Lyons was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for unspecified injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
The case is still under investigation.
