NH wife run over by car driven by husband: 'I couldn't die that way'
BOW (AP) — A New Hampshire woman who was run over by a car, allegedly by her husband, says she remembers thinking, "I couldn't die that way."
Saturn Alleyne was pinned under the car at a Bow gas station earlier this month. Five men lifted the car and pulled her to safety.
Alleyne tells New England Cable Network she suffered a broken collar bone and hand. She said she and her husband got in a fight and he threatened to kill her. She said she tried to run away when the car came toward her.
Alleyne said, "I just remember I couldn't die that way" and thought about her two daughters.
Jason Alleyne has been jailed on $100,000 bail on attempted murder and other charges. A message seeking comment was left for his lawyer.
