NH residents allegedly familiar with criminal mischief call police about suspicious package
HUDSON — Residents allegedly familiar with criminal mischief called police in reference to a suspicious package.
The Hudson Police responded to 82 Ferry St. for a report of a suspicious package Wednesday around 9:32 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a small cylindrical package located on the front yard near the street. The residents told an officer that it had not been there the night before but noticed it in the morning, police said. The residents also reported that they had a few instances of criminal mischief in the past, police added.
The Nashua Bomb Disposal Unit responded to check on the package. After x-raying the package, they determined it to be an empty gift wine container. Officials then opened and disposed of the package.
