NH mother turns herself in to police, charged with hosting underage drinking party
GOFFSTOWN — After police issued a warrant for her arrest, a woman accused of hosting an underage drinking party in February turned herself in Thursday.
According to police reports, Karen Hall, 48, of Goffstown, allegedly facilitated a party with under-aged drinking at her home on 44 Clancy Drive in February.
Goffstown police said Hall hosted a party in her home with more than four under-aged drinkers, including her children.
Police said that the Division for Children Youth and Families was not contacted because her children are 18 or older.
After a several-month-long investigation, Goffstown police obtained a warrant for Hall's arrest, which led to Hall turning herself in on Thursday.
Hall was charged with one count of facilitating an underage drug and alcohol party, which classifies as a class B misdemeanor.
Hall was released on $2,500 bail and will be arraigned June 8 in the Goffstown district court.
