NH man charged with murder of Concord woman waives arraignment
CONCORD — A man who has been charged with stabbing and killing a 23-year-old woman waived his arraignment Thursday and was held without bail.
Daswan Jette, 20, of Concord, is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of Sabrina M. Galusha, also of Concord, that occurred Tuesday evening. His bail hearing is scheduled for June 14.
Police said Jette stabbed Galusha in the chest and the medical examiner ruled her cause of death to be from that stab wound.
On Tuesday around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call for a person hurt in a car at 369 N. State St.
When officers arrived, they found an adult female — later identified as Galusha — with an apparent stab wound. Emergency crews took Galusha to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the actual incident occurred at the Penacook Place Apartments at 36 Pinehurst St., and officers were at the apartment complex Wednesday carrying bags of evidence out of the building.
