NH man arrested for aggravated DUI after crashing into utility pole
DUBLIN — One man was arrested after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a utility pole Monday.
New Hampshire State Police said they responded to the area of 481 Lower Jaffrey Road for a single vehicle crash at about 7:37 p.m.
Upon arrival, police learned that Christopher Meinsma, 30, of Dublin, had been traveling at an excessive rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle crashed into a utility pole, causing damage to the pole and vehicle.
Meinsma suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital for treatment. The crash caused Route 137 to close for about an hour.
Police arrested Meinsma for felony-level aggravated driving under the influence, and the results of a toxicology test are pending.
