NH man accused of stabbing another in arm during argument
ROCHESTER — A man was arrested Tuesday after police said he stabbed another man in the arm.
Rochester police said around 2:44 p.m. they responded to the area of South Main Street and Academy Street for a disturbance.
Upon arrival police learned that a 44-year-old male victim had been stabbed in the upper right arm after an altercation. The man was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled before police arrived, but police said they later found Paul Lupo, 47, on Portland Street.
He was arrested and charged with one count of second degree assault, a class B felony.
His bail was set at $5,000 cash and he was transported to the Strafford County Jail.
Lupo is scheduled to be arraigned in Strafford County Superior Court on Wednesday.
