NH man accused of sideswiping 1 car, colliding with another while driving drunk
MANCHESTER — A man has been arrested after a car crash when police say they found partially empty bottle of alcohol in his car Thursday night.
Brandon McMaster, 25, of Manchester, was driving on Valley Street when he struck a car parked on the side of the road, police said. The impact caused his car to spin into the oncoming lane, roll over and land on top of an oncoming vehicle.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a partially consumed handle of whiskey in McMaster's car, police said. The officer conducted a field sobriety test and determined that he was under the influence, police said.
McMaster was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
The driver of the car that McMaster collided with was treated for minor injuries.
McMaster was not injured in the accident and was released on a summons.
