NH cheer team wants to give you waterless carwash to help drought conditions
PLAISTOW - The Timberlane Owl Cheerleaders' annual car wash is going to look very different this year.
Due to drought conditions throughout the Granite State, the team has decided to turn their buckets upside down, and hold a waterless car wash.
The team is holding the fundraiser for new warm-up suits. In lieu of a car wash, they will handout "IOU" certificates in exchange for donations for when the conditions improve.
The waterless wash will be Saturday at the Pollard School in Plaistow from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
