NH AG: Man charged with 2nd-degree murder in Concord woman's stabbing death
CONCORD — A man has been charged with second-degree murder in the Tuesday stabbing death of a Capital City woman.
Police arrest Daswan Jette, 20, of Concord, on Wednesday in the death of Sabrina M. Galusha, 23, of Concord.
Police said Jette stabbed Galusha in the chest and the medical examiner ruled her cause of death to be from that stab wound.
On Tuesday around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call for a person hurt in a car at 369 N. State St.
When officers arrived, they found an adult female — later identified as Galusha — with an apparent stab wound. Emergency crews took Galusha to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the actual incident occurred at the Penacook Place Apartments at 36 Pinehurst St., and officers were at the apartment complex Wednesday carrying bags of evidence out of the building.
Matt Brown, a resident in the building said police had an entrance to the building sealed off with crime scene tape Wednesday morning.
"It's not every morning you open your apartment door, and you've got police line tape across the door right next door," Brown said.
Jette is scheduled to be arraigned at Merrimack County Superior Court on Thursday at 1 p.m.
