2 Roberts and 10 Counts of Child Pornography Possession
NASHUA — On two separate occasions, police arrested two men for multiple counts of felony possession of child pornography.
Police arrested the first man, Robert Hopkins, 55, of 7 Newcastle Drive, Apt. 3, Nashua, on Thursday at 6 a.m. after officers executed a search warrant at his home as part an ongoing investigation.
Police said they found evidence of child pornography during the search.
Police placed Hopkins into custody and charged him with five counts of class A felony possession of child pornography.
Hopkins' bail was set at $200,000 cash only. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Friday.
On Friday, officers executed a search warrant at 5 Westhill Drive, Nashua, where they found the resident, Robert Catanzano Jr., 56, in possession of child sex abuse images, police said.
Catanzano was charged with five counts of class A felony possession of child pornography.
He was released on $50,000 cash or surety bail. Catanzano's arraignment is in the Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Feb. 22.
Each class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in State Prison, exclusive of fines.
