Singing for a Good Cause: NH Choir Concerts to Benefit Hurricane Victims
CONCORD — A choir in the Monadnock region is singing for a good cause as they plan two free benefit concerts to raise funds for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Two Rivers Community Choir is planning fundraising concerts in Jaffrey and Peterborough.
The admission for these concerts is free, but donations will be accepted for the victims of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The funds raised will be sent to All Hands Volunteers, an organization currently engaged in hands on work providing long-term clean water solutions in these regions.
The Two Rivers Community Choir, consisting of 33 men and women, will bring to life songs of inspiration from across the world.
In Peterborough, the concert will be held Sunday, Nov. 19, at Union Congregational Church. The event will start at 6:30 p.m.
In Jaffrey, the concert will be held Sunday, Nov. 26, at United Church of Jaffrey, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Even if unable to attend the benefit concerts, donations can still be made to All Hands Volunteers here.
