Run (or Walk) to Help Easterseals NH Make History
The 2018 Eversource Walk and 5K Run for Easterseals is 90 days away, but the fundraising efforts have officially begun.
On Wednesday, Easterseals NH event organizers welcomed new and returning teams, as well as sponsors and event partners, at its annual “Kick-off Breakfast” at Eversource in Manchester.
Ken Cail, host of "Cail and Company" on 107.7 The Pulse and 107.3 WEMJ, served as emcee for the event.
Cail’s connection to Easterseals goes back more than three decades, when he used to work for the organization and also volunteered with its telethons. Today, he is happy to welcome guests from Easterseals on his show several times a year, where they get a platform to promote their fundraising events and raise awareness for their programs.
Easterseals is one of the largest human service agencies in New Hampshire. With this year’s Walk and 5K Run, they hope to make a little history.
If they are able to reach their fundraising goal of $265,000 which would be a new record, they also will reach the mark of $2 million raised in the event’s 19-year history.
107.7 The Pulse, 106.3 Frank FM, 105.5 JYY, and NH1.com are proud to be recognized as the lead media sponsors for this year’s Eversource Walk and 5K Run for Easterseals. To start your own team of walkers or runners, register online at www.easterseals.com/nh.
