NH City Hall Offices Shut After Water Pipe Burst
DOVER- If you had plans to do business at Dover's City Hall Tuesday, you may want to reschedule your visit.
City officials announced Monday afternoon a break in a water line has forced the closure of several departments in the building.
The break in the Customer Service Center on the ground level of City Hall has shuttered the offices of the city clerk, tax collector, water and sewer building office and the parking bureau according to information released by the city Monday.
The inauguration ceremony for the City Council and School Board is scheduled to take place in the building's auditorium at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
The closure will allow for cleanup and the affected offices are expected to reopen Wednesday.
Other offices at City Hall will be open as usual Tuesday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
