Deflategate Flashback: Jimmy Kimmel Finds the Real Culprit
Three years ago, The New England Patriots were facing accusations they deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts in order to gain an advantage. "Deflategate," as it became known, split New England fans against the rest of the U.S, with many Pats haters calling the team cheaters.
The Pats won the AFC Championship game 45-7 against the Colts. Then the Patriots went on to beat the Seattle Seahawks in Superbowl XLIX.
But the Deflategate controversy didn't go away and resulted in Quarterback Tom Brady being suspended for four games, despite appealing the ruling. The team was also fined $1 million and lost two draft picks.
On "Jimmy Kimmel Live," host Kimmel was determined to find out who was actually responsible.
The results are definitive. It was Donald O'Donnell MacDonald from Revere. Obviously.
