Bud Light Promises To Supply Philadelphia With Free Beer if The Eagles Win The Super Bowl
Wow. Endless loads of free beer to Philly? Talk about one of the biggest power moves in the history of history.
Last August, a Philadelphia Eagle, Lane Johnson, reached out to Bud Light asking for free beer to his city. Bud Light's response:
Now, that goes without saying that Bud Light has kept their plans under wraps. No one really knows what their plans are if the Eagles win.
One Bud Light enthusiast wrote a letter to Bud Light and put it on Twitter stating that the company should have this in writing the amount of beer they are willing to supply.
Can you guys elaborate on logistics of this? @budlight put it in writing so I know it's real. How *much* beer?— Colin (@Colin_P_Bradley) August 3, 2017
Barbara from Bud Light responded with an email to Colin:
Since then, we haven't heard much about the beer amount, but we're fairly confident Bud Light doesn't have much to worry about with Tom Terrific on the field. Bud Light isn't the only one partaking in something like this. Late last week, Pizza Hut tweeted out that if a TD is scored in the first 14 seconds of the Super Bowl, free medium pizzas would be given out to members of their rewards program. Why 14 seconds you ask? See the story below for more details.
