If you consider yourself a cannabis connoisseur, the Commonwealth may have a career just for you.
The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources has a job opening for an agricultural inspector for marijuana and hemp.
However, don't make light of the duties being an inspector requires as the right candidate must have more than a fondness for pot.
Among the qualifications listed are a bachelor's degree or higher in agronomy, biology, chemistry, plant pathology, entomology, or a related field. The right person also must have knowledge of regulations in other states and enforcing rules and regulations.
The salary ranges from $42,000 to $57,000 per year.
Massachusetts voters approved legalizing the adult use of recreational marijuana in 2016. There has since been changes made to the law, including the procedures for cities and towns to follow if they want to restrict marijuana stores.
