Machete, gun found at fight following latest reports of shots fired in Manchester
MANCHESTER - The latest report of shots fired in Manchester led to the arrest of two Manchester men after a fight involving a gun and a machete.
Officers arrived to reports of shots fired on Union and Grove streets early Wednesday morning and found four men fighting, police said.
One suspect, Laronn Massey, 23, of Manchester was discovered to have a machete hidden under his pant leg. Massey was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a deadly weapon.
Another suspect, Michael Hughes, 25, of Manchester had a loaded firearm which is believed to be stolen from Weare, police said. Hughes was charged of receiving stolen property, and carrying a firearm without a permit.
Both suspects were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
