Lemonade stand in Nashua helping 14-year-old girl battling rare form of cancer
NASHUA - A lemonade stand will be held until 3 p.m. on Friday to help a young teenage girl battling cancer.
Aaliyah Monay Davis, 14, was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and learned it quickly spread to her lungs.
Aaliyah has been a long time participant in the Girls Inc. program in Nashua. Members say she is very sweet, athletic and has a contagious distinct laugh.
Within the first few minutes of the lemonade stand opening Friday morning at the Girls Inc. location, a long line stretched into the parking lot. Several members of the community including many from the Nashua Police Department came to donate.
Aaliyah will be going back down to a Boston hospital this afternoon and is expected to begin chemotherapy in the near future.
The lemonade stand is at 27 Burke St.
If you are unable to attend the event, you can also donate here.
