Lebanon man arrested for lack of registration, refusing to pull over for NH police
LEBANON — A Lebanon man allegedly sped off when a police officer tried pulling him over for lack of registration around 3 p.m. Friday.
An officer observed Robert E. Blum, 21, driving on Mount Support Road without registration plates attached to the car. When the officer attempted to catch up to Blum, he allegedly sped off, police said.
Police found his car in the parking lot of a local apartment complex and saw Blum walking towards the complex. The officer tried to detain Blum, but he continued to resist arrest, according to police.
Once captured, the officer arrested Blum and charged him with disobeying a police officer and driving after revocation, both misdemeanors.
Blum was released on PR bail and will be arraigned on May 1 at the Lebanon District Division.
