Jury selection begins in former NH prep school student's sex assault trial
Jury selection begins today in the sexual assault trial for a former New Hampshire prep school student.
The process will begin at 9 a.m. in the trial of Chukwudi Ikpeazu of Florida, who was accused of fondling the breasts of a fellow female student in the basement of the school's church basement in 2015.
Church officials at first negotiated with the victim the punishment that Ikpeazu bake her bread on a weekly basis. The victim later reported the incident to police.
Ikpeazu is facing misdemeanor sexual assault charge.
The Rev. Robert Thompson proposed that Ikpeazu bake and deliver bread to his alleged victim as an "act of penance."
