Doctors to determine further care for Maine boy, 2, burned by hot coffee
LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine — A 2-year-old Maine boy was flown by helicopter to a Portland hospital after he was seriously burned when a pot of hot coffee was spilled on him.
According to sunjournal.com, Hannah Enoch was unloading a dishwasher when her son Timothy climbed onto the appliance's open door. The machine tipped, spilling a freshly-brewed 12-cup pot onto him.
Doctors were planning on waiting until today to asses his burns and whether he may need further care at a burn care facility.
