Cops For Kids With Cancer presents 13-year-old with $5,000 outside NH police department
SALEM — The Salem Police Department joined with Cops For Kids With Cancer to deliver a $5,000 check to a 13-year-old fighting malignant extrarenal rhabdoid cancer.
Retired Boston Police Captain and Board Member Ed McNelley presented the check to Jimmy Hagopian and his family, of Salem.
Cops For Kids with Cancer works closely with area police departments to distribute $30,000 per month to kids and their families to help offset the financial burdens associated with fighting this disease. Cops For Kids with Cancer has provided assistance to three Salem families since 2014.
