Apparently Spending All That Time Surfing the Web May Improve Your Life
According to a new study, scientists suggest the secret to happiness can be found on the computer. Researchers at the University of Oslo in Norway claim the secret to happiness is using the Internet every day.
From ordering food to reading books and listening to music, we can browse a variety of topics in a short time. Looking at more than 100,000 Europeans, excluding income, occupation and location, they saw time online affected a person's happiness.
The study found that younger Internet users showed no difference in happiness as opposed to when a person ages, those that were online more stayed happier for a longer period of time.
The study has been criticized by those who argue the Internet can have a negative impact. They claim the negative impact isn't related to how much time you spend online but rather the content you view.
