Georgia PD releases body cam footage of a rescue of two dogs trapped in a hot car
Roswell, GA — The Roswell Police Department tweeted out a video Wednesday after officers rescued dogs trapped in a hot car.
The police department was called by a bystander who had noticed a dog sitting in the car and immediately dialed 911.
The first officer who arrived on the scene took less than 20 seconds to get there.
Video was released by the department showing body cam footage of the rescue and the subsequent treatment for the dogs because both had suffered heat stroke.
The car's interior temperature had been measured at 167 degrees Fahrenheit.
