Former NH resident sentenced to 30 months in child pornography case
CONCORD – Former Litchfield resident, 34-year-old John Shelley, of Highland, Utah, faces 30 months in federal prison for the possession of child pornography.
Two computers were seized from Shelly's home by the Department of Homeland Security in 2014. Forensic analysis later revealed that the images Shelly was in possession of included child pornography. The 61 images and one video show minor children engaging in sexually explicit acts.
John Shelley plead guilty to the pending charges Friday and upon completion of his prison sentence will be monitored for a 10 year period.
The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force worked with the Department of Homeland Security and the Litchfield Police department to investigate this case.
