Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals NH raises over $200,000
MANCHESTER — Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals NH raised $240,000 for children, adults and seniors with disabilities and special needs
The 18th Annual Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals NH at Veterans Park in Manchester was an inspirational and enthusiastic event that attracted more than 2,500 participants, vendors and volunteers who helped to raise thousands for those who receive services from Easterseals NH.
Participants and volunteers enjoyed the carnival infused event and atmosphere complete with a scenic walk route, sponsor booths with games and activities, music, interactive booths in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Wellness Alley including the NH1 relaxation tent, kid’s attractions and food vendors.
“We’re proud of all our employees from across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, who have demonstrated a real passion for supporting and celebrating Easterseals’ important work in the community,” said Bill Quinlan, New Hampshire President for Eversource. “Their commitment to fundraising for Easterseals and bringing friends and family to the starting line made this year’s event a great success.”
The money raised supports more than 90 Easterseals NH programs that serve 26,900 people of all ages with disabilities and special needs throughout the state.
