Police: NH Man Steals Car, Crashes It, And Attempts To Flee The Scene On Foot
DOVER — Authorities were lead on a chase after a New Hampshire man steals a car, crashes it and takes off on foot.
According to police, 30-year-old Nicholas Maynes of Farmington stole a vehicle out of the parking lot of a Dover Dunkin Donuts.
Officer located the stolen 2004 Toyota Camry on Richmond Street and turned on emergency lights to attempt to stop the vehicle.
Police say Maynes accelerated and continued onto Washington Street, forcing officers to initiate a pursuit.
Once on Washington Street, the driver hit another vehicle at the intersection of Central Ave, police say.
Maynes then proceeded to run from police and took off on foot, he was subsequently arrested while trying to enter a nearby building.
After being transported to Wentworth Douglas Hospital and treated for minor injuries, Maynes remains in custody.
