Police: In-Home Nursing Aid Swipes Diamond Earrings From 63-Year-Old Client
MERRIMACK — Police say a 35-year-old nursing assistant is facing a felony level charge for stealing a woman's diamond earrings.
Officials say Amymarie Dubois of Litchfield turned herself in to police Thursday after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation that began earlier this month. Dubois' employer filed a report with the Merrimack Police Department claiming the nursing assistant may have stolen a pair of diamond earrings while caring for a 63-year-old client at her home. After an investigation, police determined Dubois did steal the earrings valued at $1,500.
Dubois was released on $1,500 bail and is expected to be arraigned in court on Jan. 11.
