NH1's Top Stories of 2017: No. 10, Dartmouth-Hitchcock shooting
A 49-year-old Rhode Island man walked into Dartmouth-Hitchcock on Sept. 12 and killed his mother in her hospital bed, police said.
Travis Frink, 48, of 76 Hoxie Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Frink's stepfather told police he had turned to walk out of the room when he heard Pamela Ferriere shout or scream.
A Grafton County grand jury indicted Frink in December on a first-degree murder charge.
